FAQ
Understand the work before you commit.
Straight answers about services, cost, timelines, integrations, ownership, AI reliability and how to start without a call.
Before we begin
Good questions. Straight answers.
What does Sequence Automate do?+
Sequence Automate builds AI agents, workflow automation and custom software for business operations. We map the workflow, design the system, connect existing tools and support a controlled launch.
What is the difference between workflow automation and an AI agent?+
Workflow automation follows defined triggers and rules, such as routing a form submission to a CRM. An AI agent interprets less structured information, such as a caller’s question or a document. A reliable system often combines both, with software validating actions and people reviewing exceptions.
Where do we start?+
Send a short description of the work you want to improve. We review the workflow, existing tools and constraints, then recommend a focused sprint or a clearly scoped build. No call is required to submit a brief.
Do we need to replace our existing software?+
Often, no. We first look at configuration, APIs and integration options. Custom software fills the gaps where existing tools cannot support the workflow well.
How much does an engagement cost?+
Most clients start with an Automation Audit (US$750, credited if you build within 30 days). Packages are fixed price: a single automation from US$1,800, a Lead-to-Revenue System at US$4,900 plus US$450 a month, an AI Voice Receptionist at US$3,900 plus US$390 a month, an AI Knowledge Assistant at US$6,500 plus US$550 a month, and operations systems or custom software from US$14,000. Third-party usage is billed at cost.
Can you work with our team asynchronously?+
Yes. Written briefs, recorded walkthroughs and reviewable milestones can carry much of the project. We use a meeting when it will resolve a decision faster.
Which countries do you work with?+
We work remotely with service and operations businesses in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia. Work is async-first, so time zones rarely slow a project down, and written briefs and recorded walkthroughs replace most meetings.
Which tools and platforms do you build with?+
We choose the stack around the workflow. Common choices include n8n, Make and Zapier for workflow automation, LangGraph and retrieval-augmented generation for AI agents, Supabase and Next.js for custom software, the WhatsApp Cloud API for messaging, and HubSpot or your existing CRM for revenue operations.
Who owns the software?+
Ownership, source-code handover and any third-party licences are defined in the project agreement before work starts. We make ongoing dependencies and operating costs visible.
What happens when AI is wrong or an integration fails?+
We design explicit limits, validation, retries and exception handling. High-risk actions need human approval. Evaluation and recovery requirements are agreed for the specific workflow.
Do you provide ongoing support?+
Continuous optimisation can cover monitoring, improvements, integrations and product iterations. Scope, response expectations and provider costs are agreed separately.
Process
How projects run.
Do we need a call to get started?+
No. Send a written brief and we reply in writing. We suggest a short call only when it will settle a decision faster.
How long does a typical project take?+
A single workflow usually takes 1–3 weeks. AI assistants and integrations take 2–5 weeks, and custom software or an MVP takes 6–12 weeks. Your proposal includes a timeline.
How is the price set?+
After we review your brief, we agree a fixed scope and price for the first release. Larger systems are split into stages so you approve each one.
What if our requirements change during the build?+
Small changes are absorbed in the weekly releases. Larger ones are written up with their effect on time and cost, and only go ahead when you approve them.
Can we start with a small pilot?+
Yes. Many clients start with one workflow or an Automation Audit, then expand once the first release proves its value.
What do we receive at handover?+
The working system, documentation, a walkthrough for your team and the accounts and access agreed in the proposal.
